Both 3M™ Filtek™ Supreme Flowable Restorative and 3M™ Filtek™ Bulk Fill Flowable Restorative now feature an improved syringe design in order to give you more control. The new syringe design virtually eliminates bubbles and material run-on during the dispensing process. It also provides better access to the prep area with an easy-to-bend cannula that can be bent by hand without kinking.
The new syringe is also more ergonomic and user-friendly, featuring a triangle finger plate and larger plunger, making it easy to hold and inject while providing the ability to quickly personalize the grip. While the syringe is new and improved, the flowable materials remain as dependable as ever, providing the same benefits as always: excellent adaptation, polish retention and wear resistance.
Warmed composites are more fluid, providing easier handling, and it may improve adaptation of 3M composite to tooth structure. You can safely warm Filtek Restoratives in as little as 5 minutes! Follow these guidelines and refer to the instructions of use for more information.
¹ Based on a 3M sponsored in vitro study. 11 dentists placed 88 Class II MOD restorations. Teeth were microscopically exampled for flaws, defects and voids. Comparisons made between techniques and operators.
3M’s popular flowable is made with TRUE nanotechnology. This patented technology makes the nanoparticles more uniform in size, resulting in excellent wear resistance and polished retention.
